Netflix and Marvel‘s Jessica Jones series released the official Log yesterday. The show dropped the AKA a couple of months ago to just Jessica Jones and this new logo is very interesting. What exactly is it telling us about the new series starring Krysten Ritter?
Here’s the tweet that revealed the new logo:

That is an interesting and quite fitting logo for the series. Notice how the cuts don’t actually line back up. Like the logo isn’t fully healed, or as strong as it should be, a little scuffed up with smudges, not as clean as it used to be. The shine is definitely lost it’s glow.
For those of you who have read Brian Bendis‘ AKA Jessica Jones comic book series you know exactly what I am alluding to. Those of you that haven’t, well you should grab a trade of the series and check it out. I don’t want to spoil anything for you and I don’t expect this series to stay inside all the lines when making this transition from the comic book page to the small screen. So if I laid it all out for you, there will be some differences.
I’d like to predict that the series logo will change as the series progresses and Jessica reclaims her confidence and soul. Perhaps the logo will reflect her healing and growth as well as the series progresses. It would be a cool stylish touch to the series.
I am really looking forward to this series later this year, rumor has it that we might see this series pop up in October.
