ghostbusters

Although Paul Feig‘s reboot of Ghostbusters with four female comediennes has been on the receiving end of its own fair share of excitement and intrigue, but more often than not, some fans have been critical. That’s putting it mildly actually. From those that think this is a black mark against the original, to those that think Feig is playing political correctness in making this film, the haters have come out in droves. Well haters gonna hate, hate, hate, right? So the response is just shake it off. Actually, in Feig’s case, the response now seems to be to go on the attack on Twitter.

Principal photography on Ghostbusters wrapped last weekend, which may help explain why Feig might have more time to actually read and absorb all the hate. Sadly, it seems that yesterday Feig could take no more and launched a rebuttal-thon on Twitter that all started with a more or less innocent joke in response to an @Midnight question.

Well that escalated quickly. Oh, and members of the media (us too), Feig didn’t forget about your trespasses.

In the end though, Feig found some piece of mind thanks to the fans that do wish him well and are interested in his take on the Ghostbusters.

Ghostbusters starring Kristen WiigMelissa McCarthy, Leslie Jones, and Kate McKinnon will be in theaters everywhere July 15, 2016.
