If you’re lucky enough to be traveling to or through Singapore in the next couple of months, you might want to plan an hour or two lay-over at Singapore’s Changi Airport to check out the life-sized X-Wing and Tie Fighter brought in to celebrate all things Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The airport had a grand unveiling ceremony that included a troop of Stormtroopers and X-Wing pilots. Check out the video below.

All in all I’d have to say they knocked it out of the park with this one. Changi Airport is a great location for marketing:
Changi Airport serves more than 100 airlines flying to some 320 cities in about 80 countries and territories worldwide. Each week, about 6,600 flights land or depart from Changi, with more than 54.1 million passengers passing through the airport a year.
Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson, the busiest airport in the world runs 96.1 million passengers through their gates, but Singapore is a hub for Asian travel.
