Before taking a break for Christmas, let’s consider what’s coming after the new year. The answer, in short, is more episodes of your favorite TV shows. More specifically, new episodes from the DC Comics TV universe. When we last left The Flash, the Wests were struck with the sudden appearance of Joe’s long-lost son Wally as the specter of Professor Zoom loomed large in the background. Meanwhile, both Flash and Arrow set-up the Legends of Tomorrow, by saving Hawkman and Hawkgirl from the machinations of Vandal Savage. Except… Well, here to tied you over till the start of a new batch of episodes at the end of January are two new promos for Flash and Legends.
First up, the Fast Man Alive. Or is he? Certainly, Harrison Wells ain’t so sure, but Barry Allen looks like he’s going to have much bigger concerns on his mind rather than the vanity of his status of being the quickest. Look out, as Killer Frost has finally arrived! And Eobard Thawne is back from a future that’s not supposed to exist anymore. “Pretty messed up?” Yes it is, Wally. Yes it is. Meanwhile, this new spot for Legends of Tomorrow gives us a brief preview of what the team’s trip back to the 1970s is going to look like, and evidently it’s going to involve a lot of punching, kicking, and an impossibly large number of knives courtesy of the new White Canary (even Rip Hunter is surprised). Here’s another look at Legends, via Comic Book Movie:
The Flash will return on Tuesday, January 19, 2016, and Legends of Tomorrow will premiere on Thursday, January 21, 2016.
