Teenage-Mutant-Ninja-Turtles-screenshot-5

While unfortunately there hasn’t been a truly great Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie released for at least 25 years, nine months, and 27 days (but who’s counting?), Ninja Turtles video games have been a mostly consistent source of some of the most fun and satisfying gaming available. That’s why video game enthusiasts are so looking forward to the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan, which is being developed by Platinum Games. It has been a few years since another game developer, WayForward, released Danger of the Ooze, which received mixed reviews at best and gamers are looking for Mutants in Manhattan to deliver the goods. Check out the brand spankin’ new trailer below!

As you can see, the Turtles look great as they fight some of their classic villains like Shredder and Bebop and Rocksteady. Apparently, Mutants in Manhattan will share some similarities in gameplay with another much-lauded Platinum Games release, Transformers: Devastation. Platinum Games have also released a number of unique and well-received games, including MadWorld, Bayonetta, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, and The Wonderful 101. Their upcoming Star Fox Zero is also eagerly anticipated.

While some of Platinum Game’s projects have been Nintendo exclusive, it appears as though Nintendo is being left out of the Mutants in Manhattan project. The game is set to be released on Playstation 3 and 4, Windows, and Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

What did you think of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan trailer? What are your hopes for the game?
