The next few weeks should be seeing the production of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 starting, and director James Gunn has taken to Facebook to give us a fun photo and some insider info to ease the wait. Gunn revealed that the film script’s first table read took place this week, and posted a picture from the proceedings. He also used social media to answer some pressing fan questions…Gunn revealed that, following the table read, the script only suffered one line change. He also divulged that the hallmark of any Marvel movie: the infamous post-credit scene, has already been written! A full cast announcement will also be made very soon.
After some drama about who’s coming back for Vol. 2, the confirmed cast features Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, and Bradley Cooper once again comprising the rag-tag team ready to take on an epic cosmic force. Michael Rooker and Karen Gillan will also return as Yondu and Nebula; while rumors have Pom Klementieff reportedly joining in to play Mantis, as well as Kurt Russell to play Star-Lord‘s father.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits theaters on May 5, 2017.
