In the year 2046, DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow find themselves face to face with a much older Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and a besieged Star City. That’s right, we’re getting a look at Old Man Oliver in the future! Amell, ever the Social Media Butterfly, posted images to his Twitter and Facebook page and you can check them out here.

Not only will we get a look at Old Man Oliver, but also his grown son Conner Hawke:
The old man Oliver look is a cross between the standard goatee wearing Green Arrow of the comics and the older one armed version from Frank Miller‘s The Dark Knight Returns.
Although one could make the case that DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow‘s Old Man Oliver is more related to The Dark Knight Strikes Back, the continuation of Frank Miller’s tale of the future. That’s were the robotic type arm comes in.
Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim had this to say about the upcoming episode:
Every once and a while, we do an episode where the 10-year-old me has to pinch himself. We’re not only introducing our version of Connor Hawke to our universe, we’re going to meet the 2046 version of Oliver Queen, and Stephen Amell is going to be reprising his role from Arrow. As an added bonus to comic-book fans, Oliver is missing his left arm and will be sporting a goatee, in a nod to the character’s appearance in the seminal Dark Knight Returns. We think this episode features some of the coolest things we’ve ever done.
There’s one more picture from the set that should get fans tongues wagging. An old frenemy is back:
Well frenemy might be the wrong word as each of them always seem ready to kill the other each time they meet. Now we’re pretty sure that isn’t Manu Bennett in the suit, but we might hear his voice, or re-cut portions of his voice from past episodes. He’s plenty busy with Shannara, public appearances, and his current film project in Peru, Death Race 2050. He’s also very active on Social Media and we were not able to find any posts from him about Deathstroke’s appearance in DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow stars Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter, Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer/The ATOM, Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary, Victor Garber and Franz Drameh as Professor Martin Stein & Jefferson “Jax” Jackson/Firestorm, Wentworth Miller as Leonard Snart/Captain Cold, Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave, Ciara Renée as Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl and Falk Hentschell as Carter Hall/Hawkman.
