Over the weekend, Deadpool crossed the $200 million mark and finished its 10-day run with a haul just north $230 million. With another $140 million in the bank, Deadpool will officially be the highest-grossing R-rated movie of all time, which means that the ultra-realistic filmed version of the scourging of the Son of God in The Passion of the Christ will have been surpassed at the box office by a morally ambiguous, foul-mouthed masked killer trying to save his prostitute girlfriend by murdering everyone between him and her. So clearly, Wade Wilson knows a thing or two about relationships. So why not give him an advice column-type video show, said no one ever.
Courtesy of the Facebook page belonging to Deadpool alias Ryan Reynolds (apparently he’s some actor), is the first, and likely only, installment of “Dear Deadpool.” Deadpool cohort Weasel (T.J. Miller) cohosts and quickly loses whatever enthusiasm he has for this project as Wade offers non-sequitur responses to personal quires. That’s not to say it’s not good advice, but perhaps a little out of context, and more appropriate for a Deadpool advice column in Guns and Ammo.
Anyway, let’s watch the video!

Wow, who knew that Deadpool has so knowledgeable about homemade potpourri? I wonder what else Deadpool knows about the arts. Scrapbooking? Building a bird house? Pottery? I would suggest maybe he start a ‘zine on the subject, but he’s unlikely to take that seriously either.
Deadpool is still in theaters everywhere…. Winning!
