Holy Hippity Hoppity Robert Downey Jr. Bunny-Man! When Downey first came onto Omaze last year, he offered fans the BEST DAY EVER by donating to an organization in need. The $2 million raised supported Julia’s House, a children’s hospice dedicated to caring for children with life-threatening illnesses, as well as their families. Now Downey’s back and ready to give fans a chance to win another great VIP experience in conjunction with the upcoming release of Captain America: Civil War. Check out the video after jump.
In a video that Robert Downey Jr. touts as the “biggest big announcement of all time”, Downey invites fans to enter for a chance to win a private, advance screening of Captain America: Civil War, an opportunity to attend a live taping of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon with Downey as a guest, a photoshoot with Downey, and the chance to share a pizza with Iron Man.
That is just the cherry on top though, the announcement also included the launch of a new charitable foundation, Random Act Funding. Anyone who donates to the Omaze campaign will be on the ground floor of the organization and its mission to help different charitable organizations garner funds to sustain or improve their conditions.
All it takes is a $10 donation to join this year’s campaign, which ends May 1st, 2016. Proceeds from this year to go to organizations like the Motion Picture & Television Fund, Make-A-Wish and Anti-Recidivism Coalition. Find out more at the organization’s Omaze page.
Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War finds Steve Rogers leading the newly formed team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. But after another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps—one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.
Captain America: Civil War hits theaters May 6th. Reserve your tickets at your favorite theater.
