Finding Dory is certain to make a bunch of cash, while it’s been thirteen years since Finding Nemo raked in just under a billion dollars at the box office, parents will be flocking to theaters with their young ones in tow for the sequel. Throw in the popular day time host Ellen DeGeneres and this movie pretty much markets itself. There’s a new trailer out and you can check it out below.
Andrew Stanton (Wall-E) directs Finding Dory, with Albert Brooks as Marlin, Kaitlin Olson as Destiny the whale shark, Ty Burrell as Bailey the beluga whale, Ed O’Neill as Hank the octopus, and Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy are Dory’s parents.
It’s not Incredibles II, which is the one Pixar sequel everyone has clamored for, but it is a nice follow-up to Finding Nemo. The story:
Disney/Pixar’s “Finding Dory” reunites everyone’s favorite forgetful blue tang, Dory, with her friends Nemo and Marlin on a search for answers about her past. What can she remember? Who are her parents? And where did she learn to speak Whale?
There’s sure to be some life lessons in there for the kids, and some over their head humor for the adults that have to take them to the theater, a win-win.
Will you be in the theater June 17th?
