Dude! Academy Award-winning actor Jeff Bridges took to social media this past weekend to officially announce his next project. Bridges confirmed on his Twitter page that he has signed on to join the cast of ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle.’ Not only is he adding star power and talent to an already stellar cast, but he is reuniting with Julianne Moore, his co-star in ‘Seventh Son‘ and ‘The Big Lebowski.’
‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle’ will have Britain’s newest super-spy Gary “Eggsy” Unwin (Taron Egerton) and his supervisor Merlin (Mark Strong) travelling to the United States to join forces with the “Statesman,” the Kingsman agency’s American counterparts, after the destruction of Kingsman HQ at the hands of evil mastermind Poppy (Julianne Moore). The American agents just so happen to have their center of operations disguised as a whiskey distillery. The film also sees the return of Colin Firth as Harry Hart (despite the character’s apparent death in the first outing).
