Yesterday, a ton of information about the North American Wizarding School hit the Pottermore along with a new story. The new movie Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, based onthe book by J.K. Rowling, should give us a closer look at the school later this November, but fans can go online now at Pottermore and take the North American Wizarding School House Quiz that helps place students in the house that suits them best. We’ve got the breakdown on the four new houses and the link to take the quiz.ilvermorny-crest

Like Hogwarts the North American Wizarding School, Ilvermorny (pronounced “ill-ver-morn-ee”), has four houses and while the school does allow students to choose their own house, there is also a sorting quiz to help those who might not know where they should fit in. Here’s the houses and what traits the house favors:

Horned Serpent: Considered to represent the mind of a witch or wizard. It is also said that Horned Serpent favors scholars.

Wampus: Considered to represent the body of a witch or wizard. It is also said that Wampus favors warriors.

Thunderbird: Considered to represent the soul of a witch or wizard. It is also said that Thunderbird favors adventurers.

Pukwudgie: Considered to represent the heart of a witch or wizard. It is also said that Pukwudgie favors healers.

Don’t be surprised if you get sorted into a house that doesn’t really match up with your Hogwarts House. The differences in the teaching between the two schools could account for that difference. Which house did you end up in?
