This year’s Star Wars Celebration takes place in London, which is hardly a convenient jaunt for a lot of North American fans. Fortunately, the organizers of Celebration have taken the mobility issues of Star Wars fans into account in the past, and have live-streamed the panels and Q&As on the internet so they (and presumably you) can get a Star Wars fix in real time. So now you’re wondering (hoping) that this year you’ll get all the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story action as it happens, and luckily enough it will all be available for the homebody Star Wars fans thanks to You Tube.
As revealed by Star Wars official website blog, they are all set to give us full coverage of Celebration. “The Star Wars Show LIVE, streaming from Star Wars Celebration Europe beginning Friday, July 15, through Sunday, July 17, will feature celebrity guests, interviews with Star Wars creators, must-see panels, and much more,” says the blog. “Andi Gutierrez and Peter Townley of The Star Wars Show are set to host, bringing you all the action as it happens.”
The Rogue One panel is scheduled to take place at 11 am EST on Friday July 15. Director Gareth Edwards, Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy, and special guests to be named later will be attendance, but the pièce de résistance will be a new three-minute trailer for Rogue One. If it is anything like the live-streaming for the new trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens at last summer’s Celebration, the full trailer for Rogue One will be posted online as it airs at Celebration. In case you miss it though, ABC will be airing the trailer on TV during its broadcast of “Secrets of Star Wars: The Force Awakens” as revealed by Making Star Wars yesterday.
Star Wars Celebration takes place next weekend from July 15-17. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story opens in theaters everywhere in December.
