As we are heading towards the premiere of DC’s Suicide Squad, there have been promotions centering on members of the rag-tag group of super villains who will be a part of a secret government black ops team carrying out dangerous “suicide” missions. Members of the Suicide Squad include Deadshot (Will Smith), Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie), Rick Flag (Joel Kinnaman), Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney), El Diablo (Jay Hernandez), Killer Croc (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), Enchantress (Cara Delevingne), Katana (Karen Fukuhara), and Slipknot (Adam Beach). So who is leading this group?
They are led by government agent Amanda Waller played by actress Viola Davis. Davis recently won an Emmy for her leading role on ABC’s How to Get Away with Murder where she plays a cutthroat layer on the show. In Suicide Squad, she will be in charge of the entire team. In a super-powered world, Amanda Waller’s somewhat “ordinary” compared to the likes of her cast, Superman, Wonder Woman, and other members of the DC Cinematic Universe. In the comics, she’s a force to be reckoned with, to the point where she is one of the few people who can talk down Superman and get away with it.
Producer Andy Horowitz describes Waller
“One of the scariest characters in the movie.”
Producer Richard Suckle describes Waller:
“The best way I can put it, she’s just a bad mother****er. You don’t f**k with her because the consequences are worse than what she was asking you to do. That’s really the best thing I can say.”
A new promotional clip was just release showcasing Amanda Waller.

Not only does is she ruthless, but even her own people are fearful of her. Deadshot and Rick Flagg share a moment commenting on just how bad she is. Could she possibly be the puppet master in the film?
