As we begin San Diego Comic-Con, we’re ready for all sorts of goodies for upcoming TV shows and movies in the world of geek, and the world of geek doesn’t get at bigger than Star Wars. One of the coolest aspects of the Star Wars world is that it is uniquely alien. From the first cantina scene on Mos Eisley in A New Hope, we got to see a totally different world. The latest film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, is coming in December, and a new character has just been unveiled.
The Star Wars Facebook page gave some info on the latest character Edrio Two Tubes, a Tognath bounty hunter who will appear in the upcoming film. The mercenary will have a co-pilot, his egg mate Benthic, and he is on display at the Lucasfilm Pavilion at San Diego Comic-Con.
“Edrio Two Tubes is a mercenary pilot who flies alongside his eggmate, Benthic. The two share the nickname derived from the breathing apparatus that allows their Tognath physiology to process oxygen atmospheres. Edrio’s home world Yar Togna was conquered and occupied by the Empire, forcing him to flee as a refugee. Desiring to strike back at the Empire, Edrio and Benthic have allied with Saw Gerrera.”
