Acting, singing, dancing, writing, time travelling and evil archery – often, it seems that there is no ends to the list of skills at which John Barrowman excels. Leaping to every new challenge with his signature flair and flamboyance – not to mention incredible levels of energy – it’s no surprise that he’s won so many awards for being generally an all round amazing entertainer. At San Diego Comic Con this week, he added to his list of accomplishments by showing off his fabulous cosplaying talents.

His take on Marvel’s Squirrel Girl is both adorable and impressive – that tail has to be heavy to carry around but it sure as hell looks good and Barrowman is showing no sign of any strain.

He introduced Matt Groening, who this year was nominated for induction in the Will Eisner Hall of Fame for his world famous and consistently popular cartoons, dressed as Groening’s leggiest 25 star General, Zapp Branningan.

And if that wasn’t revealing enough, Barrowman’s pièce de résistance was the mother of all figure hugging cosplays with a skin tight Harley Quinn number, complete with face paint, mismatched boots and wrist ruffles.

Take note, cosplayers, because this is the kind of quality that turns heads.
