Sherlock says it himself, “Something’s coming.” Sherlock doesn’t know what yet, but it’s easy to see the strain he’s put himself under. Could Sherlock be cracking? There’s still a long time to wait until the 2017 return of the BBC series Sherlock. Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman are joined this season by Toby Jones, who will be another villainous Arthur Conan Doyle character. Check out the new trailer below.
We last saw Sherlock in Sherlock: The Abominable Bride which gathered 11.6 million viewers, the highest rated Sherlock episode ever. Now, Sherlock is back on English soil, Watson and wife are expecting their first child, and Sherlock is convinced something is coming… something bad.
Sherlock does seem a little off doesn’t he? Almost like he’s on his heels, taken aback and unsure of himself. Toby Jones is going to be fantastic and the scenes Jones and Cumberbatch share look electric.
Things look to get pretty bad before Sherlock gets a handle on what Jones is up to this season.
Here’s a little video on how show creators Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss choose who would go to SDCC 2016.
It’s been a long wait for season four, and let’s all hope it will be worth the wait.
