We’re just a week away from David Ayer‘s Suicide Squad hitting theaters screens in what is looking to be a blockbuster weekend for the Warner Bros. film. Hot off the SDCC 2016 Hall H panel, there doesn’t seem to be anything that can slow down this Suicide Squad Freight Train. There was an interesting difference between what was shown at Hall H and what we’ve seen on television so far and it all comes down to Harley Quinn’s (Margot Robbie) incredible shrinking Hot Pants. Here’s the video shown at SDCC 2016 that set Hall H on fire.
Now, if you didn’t notice, there’s seems to be some kind of wardrobe change going on. Here’s a side by side comparison from that SDCC 2016 video and the same scene that we’ve seen on TV.
BleedingCool put together this video comparison that really shows the difference.
Of course it all comes down to the differences in what TV and the big screen will allow to be shown. Just imagine, someone was given the task of digitally adding more Hot Pants to Harley Quinn. That poor slub had to go frame by frame, panel by panel, starring at and altering Margot Robbie’s Hot Pants from 9 to 5 every day until the job was done, and you thought you had a tough job.
