It looks like our favorite shaved head, eggo-eating, telekinetic wonder is not staying away for too long after all. Stranger Things Season 1 breakout star, Millie Bobby Brown will be returning as Eleven for an encore performance in Stranger Things Season 2. And that’s the not the only casting news that’s been dropped down from The Upside Down!

Brown’s turn as the mysterious young girl with a murky past and amazing powers was a performance beyond her years. It also won her rave reviews and mainstream success, so it’s no surprise that the young starlet will be returning. While show creators The Duffer Bros refused to comment on the characters return, Deadline confirms the young actor’s return, also noting she has just signed on with mega talent agency WME.

It also looks like we’re being treated to some more awesomely quaffed hair! Returning cast members Joe Keery (Steve Harrington) and Noah Schnapp (Will Byers) have been promoted to series regulars after serving as featured players during the first season of Stranger Things. The Two new additions to the cast are newcomers Sadie Sink and Dacre Montgomery. They will all be joining previously announced cast members Wynona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, and Caleb McLaughlin.

Sink will be playing the previously announced character of Max. Described as a skater girl. She is a tough and confident tomboy whose pursuits in life fall more in line with the boys of this 80s time period. She has a complicated history, and is said to be very suspicious of those who surround her in life.

Montgomery is playing, the also previously announced character of Billy, Max’s older step-brother. He is said to be edgy and overly confident. He likes to steal girlfriends away from their longtime boyfriends. And he loves drinking games. He also drives a black Camaro. He is described as having a ‘violent and unpredictable nature’.

Stranger Things Season 2 consists of 9 new episodes, one more episode than Season 1. The fan loved series returns in 2017, though an official release date has yet to be announced. Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen return as Executive Producers.
