When she’s not breaking up with Hollywood heartthrobs and writing songs about it, Taylor Swift is actually a pretty fun chick, and maybe even a tad nerdy as well. The world renowned songstress was spotted wearing a Deadpool costume for Halloween. Not just any Deadpool costume. Like, she literally wore Deadpool’s costume – as in Ryan Reynold‘s actual costume from the movie.
The singer posted a number of photos on Instagram wearing the Merc With the Mouth’s maroon suit. She later thanked the actor through social media for lending her the costume in the following statement.
“Thanks @vancityreynolds for this costume, you’re the BEST deadpool inside contact ever”
It’s funny. Ryan Reynold’s has a famous story regarding the Deadpool costume. That story being, that he stole the costume (or one of them anyway) from the set. When the costume department asked him to return it on the last day of filming, he responded: “I’ve waited 10 years to do this movie so I’m leaving with a f***ing suit, try and stop me”.
One would assume that Reynolds wouldn’t let that thing off his persons for any reason but, apparently, even Reynold’s isn’t immune to the Swift’s swifty-ness. Of course, the Internet probably now assumes “OMG. Does this mean Reynolds and Swift are dating?” No! There is no such thing as “Swift-nolds” and there won’t ever be, so stop it! Reynolds is happily married to Blake Lively and they have 2 children together. Swift, well, she’s in between boyfriends right now. Her last relationship with Thor star Tom Hiddleston ended faster than it began – though there are some reports suggesting the two are a “thing” again.
It’s unknown why Reynolds would give up the suit to Swift but one thing is for certain, Reynold’s with likely fire-back on social media with some witty pithy comment, as he is known to do. Seriously, Reynolds is one of the best pages to follow on Twitter. When he’s not trolling Hugh Jackman, he’s dropping tweets like:
After this morning’s diaper, my daughter finally earned the teardrop tattoo on her face.
