Just one day after the death of her daughter, Carrie Fisher, Debbie Reynolds has passed away. Reports are still coming, but according to her son, she suffered a possible stroke in his home and was taken to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead. Reynolds is well-known for her role as Charlotte in Charlotte’s Web. She also had parts in shows such as Kim Possible and Rugrats. But it was her part in Singing In The Rain which set her apart from others and made many consider her Hollywood royalty. Reynolds was 84.
According to a TMZ report, Reynolds was with her son Todd as they were both planning funeral arrangements for Fisher, who passed away on Tuesday as a result of a heart attack she suffered over the weekend. She joins a long list of other notable celebrities who have also passed away in 2016; a year that many want to forget but will remain forever ingrained in history books for various reasons. Instead of dwelling on the sad side of things, celebrate the lives that were lost. Here is Reynolds at one of her best in a scene from Singing In The Rain along with Gene Kelly and Donald O’Connor.
As for her roles in Kim Possible and Rugrats, she played Nana Possible and Lulu Pickles, Grandpa Pickle’s second wife. Debbie Reynolds will be missed.
