He is the god of tits and wine. He drinks and he knows things. He is Peter Dinklage, and he is awesome. The actor famous for his role as Tyrion Lannister in Game of Thrones is rumored to jump from one fan feverish franchise right back to another one. Taking him from Westeros to the Cinematic Universe of Marvel.
Avengers: Infinity War and the yet-to-be-titled Avengers sequel will feature, will feature pretty every character that has ever appeared on screen in Marvel Cinematic Universe, and then some. That “and then some” includes a mystery role that Dinklage, according to Variety, is in “talks” for.
Production on the seventh season of “Game of Thrones” recently wrapped. Since the schedule for the show has moved from a summer shoot to a fall shoot, Dinklage’s schedule allowed him to board the latest “Avengers” pic which is expected to shoot sometime in early summer.
The plan is shoot the next two “Avengers” films (“Infinity War” and a yet untitled sequel) back-to-back. Sources indicate Dinklage is expected to appear in both.
As for what character Peter Dinklage will play, his role is unknown at this time.
Though it means absolutely nothing, as he’s not connected to the production, but Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld took to Twitter to predict that Dinklage may be playing Pip in the upcoming films:

Pip is a huge character the 1991 Infinity Gauntlet crossover which Infinity War is loosely based upon. Pip is known for being lewd, crude, and hedonistic. If not an assumption based solely on size, how similar does that sounds to his role of Tyrion on Game of Thrones? Why, Mr. Liefeld is right, it “makes all the sense”. Of course, if Pip is involved, that would also have to mean that Adam Warlock, another pivotal character to the Infinity War story, will be making an appearance. Here’s a snippet from Wikipedia citing how the two are connected and their involvement in the Infinity series:
Pip was once Prince Gofern of the planet Laxidazia, in the Dolenz System. He was originally an alien of the Laxidazian race who became physically and psychologically mutated into a morally degenerate, stunted, satyr-like form known as a “troll” during a bout of drunkenness brought on by a mutagenic hallucinogenic ale. Like all Laxidazian trolls, After his transformation, his people, also sick of his lewd, lecherous, and hedonistic behavior, strip him of his office and rank. He stows away on a spaceship and continues his life of debauchery. Pip meets Adam Warlock, whose alternate future self the Magus would become the leader of the Church of Truth. Pip teamed up with Warlock to escape and go on adventures. Pip then meets the green-skinned Gamora. Pip meets Thanos, and alongside Warlock, Gamora, and Thanos, he battles the Magus and the Universal Church. Pip revealed how he was transformed into a troll. … Pip explored one of Thanos’ old hideouts and discovered not Adam, but Thanos himself. Thanos destroyed Pip’s mind, but Adam was able to absorb Pip’s soul into the Soul Gem (killing his mindless body, but restoring full mental function to his soul), reuniting him with the spirits of Gamora and eventually Adam Warlock in Soulworld within the Soul Gem.
Liefeld is simply guessing, just everyone else. Dinklage could be anyone. Likely Pip but wouldn’t be surprised if he is Living Tribunal or Eternity, for example.
Whatever the role may be, Dinklage is but a seldom few – and by seldom we’re referring to Chris Evans – to play Marvel characters more than once for different Studios. Dinklage played Bolivar Trask in X-Men: Days of Future Past
