We previously reported on the likelihood of another Team Thor episode premiering on the upcoming Doctor Strange Blue-ray and as luck would have it, that has been confirmed today. The first Team Thor premiered at the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con as a stand-in for a lack of footage for the upcoming third Thor installment and it was so well-received, the studio clearly wanted to keep the fans happy. Marvel leaked a preview for Team Thor: Part 2 today and it looks lust as hilarious as the first one.

The first time we saw Darryl and the God of Thunder together, they chatted about their time at home, they went to the office together, and we even learned why Thor was absent from the events of Captain America 3: Civil War (Tony Stark wouldn’t take Thor’s call). This new outing with the pair covers only one short scene and it’s all about the two arguing about how Thor can pay for his half of the rent. His Asgardian coins aren’t worth anything and neither is the large pumpkin he’s furnished to pay his share. It’s no wonder the guy doesn’t know how to pay for anything; it’s not like he ever paid for anything on Asgard seeing as he grew up in a palace. Oh well, maybe Thor will figure out how to get along in Midgard before he has to fly off and deal with the end of days in Thor: Ragnarok due out in theaters on 3 November 2017.

Team Thor is the brainchild of director Taika Waititi (What We Do in The Shadows, Hunt for the Wilderpeople, and Thor: Ragnarok) and it looks like he may have more work in store for him in the future given the fan reaction to the shorts.

Doctor Strange was released today (February 14th) on the following formats: Digital HD/3D and Disney Movies Anywhere. It will drop on Bly-ray 3D, Blu-ray, Digital DC, DVD, and VOD on February 28th.
