First Look at Aquaman Under The Sea!

Fans of DC just got a special glimpse at Aquaman swimming underwater thanks to an exclusive tweet by Zack Snyder. Not much of the actual Justice League movie has been seen so far, so for a lot of fans this is very exciting. The only thing we’ve seen of the film has been the teaser trailer which really only shows the film’s set up and none of the actual action. So this clip serves as a teaser for future reveals.

The clip shows Aquaman swimming up to his suit of armor, which he has been seen wearing in promotional posters for the film. So far what we know of Aquaman for the teaser, he seems tough and very Jason Mamoa-like. He’ll definitely need some convincing to join the squad. And even though the DCEU has been primarily a disappointment so far, fans have been looking to this film with heaped expectations, hoping that this time they get it right.

Before Justice League is released in November, we have Wonder Woman in June, and after Justice comes the solo Aquaman movie which is being directed by James Wan. Wan gained popularity through horror movies such as Saw, Insidious, and the Conjuring films. He recently directed Fast and the Furious 7, which was a huge success, so he’s proven himself worthy of directing a bigger budget action film.

One of the challenges of filming a movie like Aquaman is that almost everything has to be underwater, which would either take a lot of CGI or special effects. Either way it’s complicated, but this clip offers hope that it can actually work. Time will tell if the film lives up to it’s hype. Check out the full clip here blow:

“Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes-Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash-it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.”

Justice League hits theaters November 17, 2017. Expect a lot more teases by the film’s production team before then.
