In case anyone forgot that the next Star Wars spinoff Solo: A Star Wars Story is coming out next month, LucasFilm is here with a new trailer.
The trailer offers new footage featuring Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, Woody Harrelson as Han’s new mentor Tobias Beckett, Emilia Clarke as Han’s longtime friend Qi’ra, and Paul Bettany as the villain Dryden Vos.
After the first trailer for Solo, it was easy to think we were in trouble there for a second, but it’s fine we’re fine. Everything seems great with the small exception of Alden’s face/voice. It’s just not the same without Harrison Ford. But Donald Glove as Lando… oh, man does he ooze smoothness. Makes you wanna drink a Colt 45. Say what you will, bemoan all you want, be a hard to please fan boy… but, oh hey, it looks like they remembered that Star Wars is fun!
Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in “Solo: A Star Wars Story,” an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo befriends his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and meets the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.
The film was directed by Ron Howard, and it also stars Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Joonas Suotamo.
Solo: A Star Wars story hits theaters on on May 25, 2018.
