How many times have you been sitting around the breakfast table and caught yourself picking at your cereal, and pushing aside the grainy members of the cereal team and just eating the marshmallows? Face it, we’re all cereal snobs. When it comes down to it we are gonna choose the gooey, yet somehow a little crunchy at the same time mallow over the bland, grainy shit every time! That is why this concept is so darn cool. A website has been developed now that sells these things by the bag-full, and at a reasonable price as well. In addition, for those health conscious peeps out there, one-hundred calorie packs will soon be available! The kid in us all is jumping for joy at this brilliant marketing plan! How much better and easier will the morning routine be now that we don’t have to spend time pushing aside those obnoxious other pieces of the cereal? How tedious! Thanks to Cereal Marshmallows for bringing mankind one step closer to the easy life. Check out their website, Cereal Marshmallows, and pick up your bag today!

It seems so, folks! So, the classic cartoon show Chip N’ Dale Rescue Rangers is being turned into a comic book. Wow… talk about nostalgia overload! First of all, who didn’t LOVE cartoons growing up?! They just don’t make ‘em like they use too. It saddens one to think that while we’re filling our faces with delicious confectionary cereal on Saturday morning, that we’re doing so to the likes of garbage such as That’s SO Raven or the fact that everything that is animated is now in 3D. It’s a damn shame. Which is why it is AWESOME that Chip N’ Dale are coming to our rescue! This is all due to success from turning another great cartoon from back in the day, Darkwing Duck into a comic book series. The Chip N’ Dale comics should be coming our way in December and will be written by Ian Brill, who is the writer of Darwing Duck miniseries and art will be provided by Leonel Castellani. How great is this? Even if we can’t get quality cartoons, at least we can still get quality comics. And in case you’ve forgotten about that incredible catchy and sweet intro to the show, here ya go!

For the parents of any geek who knows that playing video games isn’t underachieving, it’s just a different sort of a achievement. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to beat Contra without the Konami Kode? DO YOU! Or how about Silver Surfer? A game where multiple enemies are coming at you, all the time and you only have one hit point, and you’re dead? At-least in Contra you restart where you die. In Silver Surfer you gotta start the whole level over. Oh, and if you touch any wall, ceiling or ground, you DIE! I digress, point is video games are achievements onto themselves and nerds are seldom recognized for their victories (which is why we have X-Box Achievements).

Well, feeling and sharing the pain of unappreciated-ness is Das Chupa of Zero Lives. Chupa decided to make some “Proud Geek” stickers to stick (see what I did there) it to those smug parents who tote around in their Soccer Mom SUVs’ and Hybrid cars with those “Proud Parent of an Honor Student” slapped on the bumper (douchecanoes). Now, I’ve always been a fan of the “My Child Can’t Beat The Shit Out of Your Honor Child” bumper stickers. These, however are F’N awesome and appeal much more to my gamer sensibilities.

Currently, these stickers are not available for purchase (Damn!). Just something personal Das Chupa put together. So, someone needs to throw their hat over the wall and actually make these available to the public.

During a recent Stan Lee (If you don’t know who he is, then email your address so I can drive to your house and punch you in the face) panel it was let loose by “the man” that a Doctor Strange movie is in fact in the works. Special thanks to AICN…

“During the panel on Saturday, Stan Lee was talking about his cameo appearances in the recent Marvel movies, and he mentioned that he had not yet shot his cameo for Capt. America, and that there was still Avengers and Dr. Strange to do. This was the first I’d heard of a Dr. Strange movie. So, Sunday I went to his panel again and got up and asked asked him about it. He said he hated to frustrate me, but all he knew was that there is a Dr. Strange movie in the works, but he didn’t know if they had a director, writer, cast, or really anything about it. Not much, but at least it’s a little hope. Personally, I’d like to see David Lynch direct Johnny Depp in this.”

David Lynch & Johnny Depp would be Fantastic but more importantly, this is the first major motion picture project for Doctor Strange. Sure there was that animated feature ‘Doctor Strange: The Sorcerer Supreme‘ back in 2008, but we all know that sucked crystal balls. There may be a little worry to what this film will become though. This is the first Marvel film generated under the Disney banner since Disney bought Marvel for $4 billion dollars just over a year ago. Doctor Strange currently has no cast as of yet and nobody attached to direct.

Dr. Strange, is a Marvel comics character, Earth’s “Sorcerer Supreme” who dabbles in the mystic arts. Last we heard, Thomas Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer have been hired to write the script for the film. These two have quite the list of projects that they have worked on: the new Conan film, scripted the live-action adaptation of the video games, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune for Sony Pictures, and a draft of Jon Favreau’s upcoming Cowboys & Aliens.

Now, this almost makes He-Man look like something other than a horrible, unforgivably hideous and thoroughly, eye-gougingly abysmal piece of rotten garbage.

Dare I say it, this almost makes He-Man artistic.

Of course, the only real feeling this invokes in me is sadness that anyone would waste their time trying to make He-Man artistic.

Want a Dildo like device to add that little something extra to your Wii (See what I did there? Eh, I suck at sexual innuendos). Alright, well the following cool product is actually for the Doctor Who fans out there ( or people who like dildo like devices). So, there’s an official Sonic Screwdriver Wii controller coming, one fully licensed and signed off on by BBC Worldwide. Designed to be used with the upcoming Dr. Who: Return to Earth being released for the Wii this Winter. ‘Who‘ cares? Well, I do, you son of a bitch! This is like the best Wii accessory ever.

From what I’ve seen of the game it looks like they made it to sell a peripheral and not the other way around (meaning it sucks. Bummer). Regardless, for fans like myself this is sure to get me to dust off the ole’ Wii and perhaps excite my sex life.

Well, profiting from the random act of nerd violence is mightyfine.com. These tasteless, but funny bastards (kinda like us) decided to print a t-shirt for all those that survived the drama. Titled ‘I survived The Comic-Con Eye Stabbing’ this $20.00 tee is for all those who walked away from the event unscathed.

And, while we all laugh at this, the guy with one less eye, probably isn’t.

In the original series, due mostly to budget and technical limitations, I presume, there wasn’t a specific effect for warp speed.

So they made a huge deal of it in the first Trek movie. Actually they made a huge deal of “hey, check out what we can do with better technology and a bigger budget” shots of the Enterprise, but still, imagine going from the TV show to seeing the movie Enterprise jumping into warp for the first time.

This video, brought to our attention by the fine folks at Gizmodo, documents each warp jump from Star Trek: The Motion Picture to the most recent Trek film. It’s a trip to see the evolution of the visual representation.

I still call bullshit on the Klingon Bird of Prey going into warp while still in Earth’s atmosphere, especially given that they made a huge deal in the first movie about going to warp while within the solar system.
