Batman’s New Origin Story: Epic Mistranslation

Living in Japan and doing some manga scan projects myself, I have seen some terrible mistranslation that made me laugh (and probably influence my already bad writing skills). With that said, I don’t think I have ever seen anything as epic as this “origin story” for the Dark Knight. What you see above is some sort of foreign product of Nolan’s Batman Begins film. I don’t know about you, but seeing Carey’s Riddler and Schwarzeneggar’s Mr. Freeze on the product already lets me know that this will be awesome.

Liam Neeson…Worst.Mentor. Ever.

Liam Neeson has made a career of playing memorable mentors, as well as Aslan the Jesus -esque Lion from Narnia. It has occured to me that in ANY movie he happens to be a mentor in…He just isn’t that good at what he does. Wise and enlightening? Yes. Proficient? Not quite. Here are some examples of Liam’s epic FAIL at being a warrior, in the same style of his wife’s epic fail as a skier….That was even too soon for me. I apologize, but will not delete it. (more…)
