We know that The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is full to the brim with villains – Electro (Jamie Foxx), Norman Osborn (Chris Cooper), Black Cat (Felicity Jones), though that last one is more rumor than anything – but aside from a recent pic of Foxx as Electro, we haven’t seen too much of all those bad guys.
And now there’s this. It’s a video of some spy pics from the Rochester set of Amazing 2, and the video-makers think it seems to indicate the look of Paul Giamatti‘s character Rhino. Now obviously, the shot isn’t of the Rhino in costume, and it’s not even Giamatti himself, but the mask the stunt man is wearing, and the very Russian mob-style appearance with the tattoos and the jump suit, it’s easy to conclude that maybe this is what Aleksei Mikhailovich Sytsevich might look like out of costume.
Press play on the video below and judge for yourself.
Despite what you may have heard, there are some of us that weren’t completely upset with Marc Webb’s latest Spider-Man reboot. In fact, there are quite a few folks out there looking for some news concerning the upcoming 2014 sequel. We already know that Electro (Jamie Foxx) will be the main villain and that Paul Giamatti is supposedly playing the Rhino. We also know that Mary Jane and Harry Osborn will be showing their faces. Now, there may even be some potential Black Cat casting. In addition, Webb teased a tiny taste of the changes they’ll be making to Spidey’s costume. Check it all out after the jump.
Every day the internet produces an astounding amount of goodies and gems. Most hilarious, some amusing, but all worth at least a few seconds of your time. We here at Nerd Bastards try to bring you the best bits of news and nerdery the webz has to offer, with a bit of snark thrown in. But sometimes not everything makes the cut. Monday through Friday we’ll be bringing you our inbox leftovers, our forgotten bookmarks, the nerdy bits that simply slipped through the cracks. You can submit items to Nerdy Bits by emailing us at email@example.com.
ABOVE: Every James Bond actor ever morphed into an image to create one bad-ass Super Bond. “Morphed”? Yeah, right… looks more like someone hit Roger Moore in the face with a shovel. [NerdApproved]

J-Estacado must really love the work of famed pin-up artist Gil Elvgren, so much so that he made his own tribute piece to Gil with DC Comics Zatanna in place of Gil’s girls. He really nails it too, right down to the black negligee she has on in the tribute piece. Now that’s some real magic. [Nudity and Nerdery]

Above: Is a Zombie bite contagious to aliens species? No idea, but Andy J. Hunter is going to help us find out soon enough thanks to changing up this famous E.T. scene to a full out zombie horde. Elliott is going to have to pedal fast if he wants to stay ahead of the undead shambling because all the magic fingers in the world aren’t going to save him now. E.T. gonna hunger for flesh. Dr. Teeth, Animal, Sgt. Floyd Pepper, Janice and Zoot, the one and only Electric Mayhem -before Lips came in and ruined it with his trumpet. Douglas Holgate made this kick ass looking tour poster that looks to be pulled from our parents closets. This must have been an early in their career though since Zoot is nowhere to be seen, either that or this was during the first of his many drug-related offences. [The House Of Skullduggery]

This week’s Sexy Cosplay of the Week is on like Donkey Kong! Not that there is any 8-bit costuming happening today, but we wouldn’t turn it away if it did.
No, this week we are wrapped up in the amazing and magical cosplay talents of Riddle (AKA Riki LeCotey.) Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia; this actress/make-up artist has over a decade of experience in the costuming world and it shows. With hobbies that include video games, comic books and, anime; her inspiration and passion can be clearly be seen in the gallery below.
If I sound like I am gushing here, well I am ’cause she is honestly one of the best cosplayers I have ever seen. From her gender swapped Avengers (and I mean John Steed and Emma Peel) to female versions of Loki and Thor (the other Avengers.) DC, Marvel, Anime and more await you after the jump.
The Interwebz is a great place for nerdy art and the like. A lot of the time it’s fuckin’ weird shit like Kim Jong II getting assraped by Michael Jackson up in Neverland and other shit like that. But there are a lot of awesome things that we see on a daily basis, and we’re lazy nerd bastards so we just round them all up once a week for your nerdgasm art lovin’.
Who’s been a naughty princess? Princess Leia has been a very naughty princess! Titled “Leia and the Robot” by CGHUB artist Che-Che, this gives us a different take on what could have been going on before Luke Skywalker arrived at Jabba‘s palace. Imagine all the sex tapes R2D2 could be hoarding…
This week, we’ll be looking at the top 10 female comic book characters’ asses. Obviously, how nice the ass is depends on the artist drawing it… and they’re all going to be perfect — so, technically, this is a list of the top 10 chubby-inducing female comic book characters with lots of (often fan-made) asstastic pictures. But, hey, let’s roll with it!
The mutant shapeshifter from the X-Men Universe definitely makes the list, especially considering that she essentially has full reign over the physical appearance of her body parts, which I’m sure could come in handy.
A news and entertainment blog for nerd pop culture. We are vulgar, debaucherous, and funny bastards that pilfer the internet (or interwebz, if you like) for the news you need so that you don't have to. You'll laugh, you'll cry and you'll often shake your fist in an angry fury but your time here is worth the price of admission (which is free for those of you not paying attention)
