Usually, television spots and trailers and all that marketing jazz are pretty careful about keeping the best and most relevant moments of a movie hidden away for the actual movie. The latest Captain America: The Winter Solider television spot, however, looks to be throwing some bold footage around, even hinting that we may have seen the last of a particular, long-running Marvel movie character. Right off the bat, you should know this article focuses on a major spoiler in Captain America: The Winter Solider. If you wish to stay pure, then hold up your own mighty shield and block the evil spoiler that lies beneath. This report has been covered for 2 reasons. A) There are those who absolutely must know everything about a film ahead of time – in which case have at thee! And B) I’m compelled to satisfy my own self regard. I suspected this reveal weeks ago, but never said anything for fear of no one believing me. I’d have better luck convincing people Bill Murray stole one of my french fries.

Doesn’t everybody want to be an Avenger? Anthony Mackie certainly does. The actor is joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe in Captain America: The Winter Soldier as Sam Wilson, AKA: The Falcon, but Mackie has his eyes set on bigger things than being Captain America’s sidekick, like getting a chance to help the superhero team fight an evil robot in The Avengers: Age of Ultron. Two months from tomorrow Captain America: The Winter Soldier will come barreling into theatres nationwide and kick off the summer blockbuster season. With it comes a lot of expectations: Will it live up to Captain America: The First Avenger? How will it stack up against Marvel‘s other post-Avengers flick, Iron Man 3? Are you guys excited about Super Bowl Sunday? Not about the game, of course, but about all the new movie trailers and ads we’re going to get. Forget the Seahawks and the Broncos, game day is really going to be about setting up the bigger fight between the Star-Spangled Avenger and his mysterious new adversary in Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Captain America: The Winter Soldier will kick off this year’s blockbuster season when it releases on April 4th. Besides bringing Cap (Chris Evans) back to the big screen, The Winter Soldier also sees the return of Scarlet Johansson as Black Widow and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury.
