Last time we saw Maisie Williams, we were reporting her involvement in Sam Raimi’s video game adaptation The Last Of Us on our sparkling new Google+ page. Good to see that she’s not suffering from typecasting, and jobs outside of playing Arya Stark are knocking on her Moon Door. But no matter what she’s doing or what she says, it all goes back to Game Of Thrones with her. Whether it’s posting her Cinnamon Challenge failures on YouTube or infiltrating San Diego Comic Con in a Spiderman mask, she’ll always be Arya to fans of George R. R. Martin’s ‘A Song Of Ice And Fire’ HBO series adaptation. However, supporters of the novels have been very opinionated lately about creative licenses taken by the hit television show. Yes, it’s a very confusing headline full of names you no doubt recognize but have no clue how they relate. I’ll explain. Jonathan Rhys Meyers, best known for portraying Henry VII on HBO‘s The Tudors is a big fan of Game of Thrones. Being such a fan he’s got a pretty good grasp on the series’ enormous cast of characters and one of them, he thinks, would be an excellent choice for President Obama’s next Secretary of State: Catelyn Stark, Lady of Winterfell.
