Welcome gaming bastards to another edition of G.R.O.W. This is NerdBastards weekly video game release list where we give y’all a heads up on what was released for the consoles and PC (and sometimes the MAC). We also cover downloadable titles as well.

We got quite the releases on both the home release as well as the digital side, with Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime will let players once again control the rookie and bust even more ghosts on the digital side. The big release for the home release is Crysis 2. Nintendo is giving gamers the chance to catch ’em all (649 of them now) again this coming Sunday while EA Sports is releasing their first ever M rated sports title today. Also, that game that has a commercial that says “we’re not in Azeroth anymore” comes out today as well.

After that, the downloadable side sees quite the release this week and I’ve decided to write it all out after the jump instead of just linking the trailer to the title. So click the jump button to see what game is receiving some single player DLC and two classic titles that are being brought back to make some cult fans happy.

Mashable reports that a Japanese newspaper talked to Nintendo president Satoru Iwata and has revealed that the next Nintendo DS, dubbed by many as DS2, will have motion controls.

From the interview, Mashable infers that the new DS will have motion-sensitive controls similar to Wii remotes. More detailed graphics also are on the way.

However, the DS2 won’t have a 3G internet connection and, thus, won’t compete with the iPhone, Droid and others directly for those type of mobile gaming dollars. It appears that cartridges and downloads via wi-fi will retain their places.
