ABOVE: Prepare for The Hunger Games to begin popping up everywhere, it’s poised to explode fandom wise and this awesome cosplay is only the beginning. This flaming wedding dress comes up in the third novel, Mockingjay, so I’ve got no clue what is means but it sure looks great.

It was constructed using a vintage wedding dress base, to which I added a layer of fiery fabric to imitate the dress in flames, then black feather boas for the black feathers. I also added the sheer sleeves and veil piece as well. I’m not sure if it’s visible, but there are also faux pearls strung along the neckline.

This guys clearly has a way with LEGO bricks. Can you turn that into a lucrative job? LEGO expert? Because I’ve got some bins in the basement and uh…

ABOVE: Skyrim has pretty much run it’s course in cultural coolness, I think we’re all pretty much done with it. With that said,  Female Dovahkiin’s will never go out of style. Steel boobs and a helmet with f*ck-me-from-behind handles will always rise a Fus Ro Dah out of me. [ObviousWinner]

We’ve featured before the video of 100 Ways to Die in Skyrim, now we’ve got a video of 42 Ways to Die in Saints Row: The Third. If you like watching people bite the dust in video games it’s your lucky day, there are some phenomenal deaths in here. Like being juggled in the air by explosive rounds or being smashed in the head by a mace. Good, wholesome stuff. (TDW: Geek)

This short, XXIT from Stargate Studios, is more than a Blade Runner fan film, it’s more than a parody, it’s a work of art. All filmed on Canon EOS C300 this short is awesome, and the effects incredible. Not too surprising since Stargate Studios is also responsible for effects on shows like Heroes, The Walking Dead and 24. (Geek are Sexy)

Freddie Wong’s Air Duct Adventure: “Duct Hunt”

Clearly, all of the Asian YouTube sensations are clamoring to become the next Jackie Chan.

Y’know, like this guy. His latest bit is a 2-minute action short that he’s entitled Duct Hunt and it’s pretty fuckin’ awesome. The best description, though, has to be his own:

I conduct a stealth ankle shooting mission inside some air ducts, just like a real action movie star!

This is a sneaking mission where I infiltrated a Deaf Person’s Warehouse.

We’re still several days away from the release of Cowboys & Aliens, and parody videos are already on their way, but none of the have this kind of star quality.

Special Effects wizard and YouTube sensation Freddie Wong makes no budget short films that receive thousands of viewers per day. This video however, will be worth millions. Freddie and director Jon Favreau create a fun wild short film as a way to help promote the Universal Pictures feature for it’s July 29th release.

Wong said,

“Jon Favreau contacted us and gave us resources and full creative freedom to make a video about Cowboys and Aliens! This is what we came up with!”

What they came up with was the highly enjoyable Cowboys & FreddieW (ft. Jon Favreau). Filmed entirely on the universal set, Freddie even got to use the actual wrist dildo prop worn by star Daniel Craig. Those spurs tighten up yet? Well they should be because the youtube star even got the former Iron Man director to take part in the short film parody. It’s great to see Jon with such a comedic side to a project he put time and effort into.

As an added bonus here’s the behind the scenes footage for the making of Cowboys & FreddieW (ft. Jon Favreau).
