Just when you were finally free from “Let it Go” getting stuck in your head! Elsa and co. will be front and center in the newest Walt Disney World attraction, “Frozen Ever After,” slated to debut in 2016. Set to be a showcase ride (in the same vein as “It’s a Small Small World”), “Frozen Ever After” will be based on the 2013 animated mega-hit Frozen, but Imagineering creative executive Kathy Mangum specifies that the ride is not meant to be a re-enactment of the film. Movie composers Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson Lopez will even be providing new lyrics for the film’s existing songs. (more…)

Disney has long been at the forefront of pushing boundaries when it comes to kids and their interaction with imaginative toys and experiences.  The Disney Infinity toy/game hybrid series has been doing extremely well these last few years, and of course, Disney’s theme parks themselves are essentially one big immersive experience.  Now, the company is ready to make another leap: Playmation, wearable smart technology that they hope will blur the lines of gaming and imaginative play all the more.

If you live in North America, and anywhere west of the Rockies, then you’re probably freezing right now. Perhaps you can be comforted and warmed by the idea that, at least, you’re not going thorough it alone, but as it stands right now, forecasters are saying that this is going to be the coldest February on record. Being completely irrational human beings, people are looking for someone to blame. For the cold. And the good folks in Police Department of Harlan City, Kentucky, think they’ve found the culprit, Princess Elsa from Disney animated movie Frozen. Presumably, Mr. Freeze, Captain Cold and the X-Man Iceman have been accounted for, so a warrant has been issued for the immediate arrest of Elsa. (more…)

Looking back on AMC‘s award winning Breaking Bad series, the only thing I regret not seeing is Walter White (Bryan Cranston) and Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul) singing. now we don’t have to imagine what it might have been like thanks to the folks over at Animeme and Toonocracy. They teamed up and produced this little animated video gem. (more…)

Disney’s Frozen came out almost a year ago and people are still singing that damn “Let it Go”. It’s starting to become as obnoxious as the “It’s a Small World” tune. That’s actually the perfect example for today’s story. Just like “It’s a Small Word”, Frozen is to be inducted as yet another ride at Disney parks where passengers will be trapped on a log chute while a title track plays on an endless loop (I was once trapped on It’s a Small World for 45 minutes while the song played, so you can imagine my deep rooted horror). Hit the jump to read on more about what classic ride is being updated, as well as Disney World’s plan to transform their castle for Elsa. (more…)

Frozen is not only one of the most popular animated movies of all time, it is one of the most popular movies of all time, period.  Between its message of true love between sisters and its catchy soundtrack, not to mention a stable of characters that were severely likeable, Frozen has grossed over $1.2bil worldwide and has received more awards than you can shake a carrot at.  Now that it has dominated the animated world, Disney is bringing a live action Elsa, Anna, and even Kristoff to the small screen in ABC’s Once Upon a Time and if these promos are an indication, Frozen will continue to win hearts over. If you are one of the millions of people who saw Disney’s Frozen, you understand just why the movie was such a hit, not just with kids, but with adults as well. Beyond just wonderful storytelling and fantastic animation, the blockbuster carried an important message: women are pretty badass and don’t need a prince to save them. So, how do you follow up such an epic event? Well if you are writer-director Jennifer Lee (Frozen, Wreck it Ralph), you up the stakes by adapting a childhood favorite. (more…)

When ABC‘s Once Upon a Time teased a new “chilling” addition to the cast in the season’s finale many fans wondered, myself included, if other characters from the hit movie Frozen would make the transition from the big screen to our television screens. Now we’ve got hints that at least two characters will be joining Elsa. Who do you think they are? (more…)
