For those of you younger readers this might not seem like much of a big deal. It’s just another blooper reel, there are hundreds on the Internet at a click of a mouse button. For those of us old enough to remember the Before Times of the Internet, we remember seeing the mythical original series Star Trek Blooper Reel once or perhaps twice a year in a crowded, unusually hot hotel conference room at the annual local Sci-Fi convention. No one even had it on VHS back then unless you bought it off the bootleg video table. You could always find it in a darkened corner of your local comic book convention. You knew the table because every VHS tape had a photocopied cover. Now you just click and enjoy. (more…)

‘Rescue Rangers’ Gets Scientifically Accurate And Ruins Your Childhood

SF

I’m just going to throw this out there: If you’ve never had the opportunity to view any of Animation Domination High-Def’s series of “Scientifically Accurate” cartoon jingles, based on the opening theme  songs and credits of some of pop culture’s most beloved animated characters, then you are doing  yourself a grave disservice. Let me tell ya, they are a beauty to behold. ADHD has already tackled  DuckTales and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but the animation group has a new target: Chip ‘n  Dale’s Rescue Rangers. If you’re ancient like me, you’ll remember the series featuring the title  characters solving crimes and what-not with their mice companions Monterey Jack and Gadget and the  housefly Zipper. No set up I could give this video would do it justice, so just give it a look. (more…)

The Rap Titan Throw Down You’ve Always Wanted to See: Goku vs. Superman

- 05-20-14Cool Stuff, Funny Videos Posted by Jacob Knight

GokuSuperman

Fans can be weird sometimes.

While certainly not as disturbing as erotic 30 Rock fan fiction, it’s always kind of fascinating to see just how far the goofiest lovers of certain properties will take their adoration. Today, we get to see the strangest (and perhaps whitest) rap battle ever committed in the service of nerdom. Yes, it’s the rhyme-spitting, high noon showdown between two similarly dressed (yet rhythmically opposite) rappers no one saw coming: Superman and Dragon Ball’s Kakarrot. Who thought watching these two throw down like Rabbit and Poppa Doc would be a good idea? Who cares?

Funny Videos: Watch Professor X Fire The X-Men

Comedian Pete Holmes has a talk/skit show on TBS aptly named “The Pete Holmes Show”. A show, which I’m not entirely show anyone watches. But that’s besides the point. Holmes has won the Internet with his series of X-Men inspired skits where Professor X scales back his team of super powered mutants by firing them for their uselessness and weirdness.

Wolverine, Gambit, Angel, Iceman, Jubilee, Rogue, Nightcrawler and Storm have all been shit canned so far.  Oh, it doesn’t matter that some of these team members are actually some of the most powerful, the economy tanked so hard even the X-men are getting laid off. Check out the firings in the video collection below:

Movie Manners Basic Rules: Don’t Be a Movie-Ruining-Douche-Bag

- 12-04-13Film, Funny Videos Posted by Mark Poynter

Kevin Mazur

Some social rules are so basic that it staggers the mind to think that someone doesn’t know, understand, and follow those rules. You want to know something about a person? Take them to a movie. If they break any of the simple rules shown in the video, you can bet they’ve got plenty of other much more serious problems and you’re most likely better off alone. (more…)
