How To Train Your Dragon

For those who don’t know, How To Train Your Dragon was actually a damn fine animated film that surprised the heck out of me. Who’s joined the cast you ask? Well let’s start off with Game of ThronesKit Harrington. Now Jon Snow might know nothing, but Harrington’s HTTYD2 character, Eret, the cocky dragon trapper with a London accent sure does.

Honsou will be playing an as yet unnamed, or just unannounced, character who is training the captured dragons and turning those dragons into an army.

Cate Blanchett is up next, she will be voicing Valka, described as: “a stealthy vigilante type set on rescuing as many of the dragons as possible.”

Early word out of the panel is that the footage shown was fantastic. The first movie was a real money-making success for Dreamworks and so far all the buzz about the follow-up is very positive. When we get our hands on the footage shown at the panel, we’ll bring it to you here.
