After a few months of wild speculation, sourceless rumors, and multiple postings of that same old ‘Sad Batfleck’ picture, we have an actual update on the semi-confirmed forthcoming Ben Affleck written-directed-staring solo Batman movie.
Matt Damon’s better half was on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night (Jan 9) promoting a sadly non-Batman related film, Live By Night (come on, the title is sooooo close,) and offered a brief statement on the status of the much-scrutinized DCEU production. (more…)
Last night, the casts of the 1984 (Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts) and the 2016 Ghostbusters (Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones) joined forces on the Jimmy Kimmel Live stage to celebrate Ghostbusters Day and promote the upcoming film’s release on July 15th. Guillermo as the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man was the highlight of the evening and it’s pretty evident that Bill Murray has an almost unhealthy attraction for that character. You’ll notice there’s a couple of different outfits worn, some of these must have been shot earlier in the day. (more…)
Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together… and mass hysteria is headed your way as the casts from the 1984 original and the 2016 reboot Ghostbusterswill appear on stage together on Jimmy Kimmel Live to celebrate Ghostbusters Day on June 8th. “The Internet is gonna blow up, blow up real good,” as Big Jim McBob (Joe Flaherty) and Billy SOl Hurok (John Candy) would say on SCTV’s Farm Film Celebrity Blow–Up. It’s the 32nd anniversary of the release of the first film. Which cast members will be on stage when the two streams cross? (more…)
It was just last week when Robert Downey Jr. coyly answered Jimmy Kimmel‘s question about Spider-Man: Homecoming saying, “Perhaps I will, we don’t have a contract yet.” Well, THR is now reporting that RDJ has completed talks and has signed the dotted line to appear alongside Tom Holland as he makes his first solo Spider-Man movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Jimmy Kimmel took Oscar night to a new level with guest Ben Affleck promoting Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice. Affleck brought the sad news that Kimmel’s cameo in BvS had been deleted and might never been seen. He decided to soften the blow by bringing that deleted clip and trying to bury the hatchet between Kimmel and Matt Damon. Check out how it all turned out in the videos below. (more…)

On the outside, Star Wars looks like a movie about aliens, starships, and intergalactic battles. But deep down, the movie is actually about family problems, love, and learning how to deal with them. Ironically, this was the case for the movies two biggest stars. On screen, the duo were inseparable. In real life, their relationship was just the same. That is until the Spring of 2013 when Harrison Ford went on the Jimmy Kimmel show. There, Ford confronted Chewbacca about an affair with his wife before storming off the set. Now 2015, the two have finally reconciled their differences, but it almost came at the cost of someone’s life.

It’s the lunch hour, so why not make some time to get stoked about the biggest comic book movie of all time (to date): Avengers: Age of Ultron. The internet’s been exploding the last several days with new clips and promotion of the Marvel Studios film, which remains two very anxious weeks away from release. But perhaps your desire for superhero fun and excitement can be fed with the following clips. The stars of Avengers were very busy yesterday with red carpets and talk show appearances, while the studio is busy releasing new scenes, and new advertisements to convince fans who were already excited about this project mere minutes after 2012’s The Avengersended, why they should be even more excited. Jack Black was a recent guest on the Jimmy Kimmel Live and Black brought his latest film project with comedy partner Kyle Gass. It’s a Teen Wolfsequel, Adult Wolf. If you’ve ever wondered what happened to Teen Wolf after High School, it’s not a pretty picture, in fact it’s kinda depressing.
Don’t worry it’s not all about bad stuff, although this film doesn’t have the standard 80’s movie training montage, it does have a “Getting Dressed Montage” that will rock your socks off.
I was literally laughing out loud watching this clip from Jimmy Kimmel Live! in where Simon Pegg talks about this prank he pulled on the cast and crew of Star Trek Into Darkness involving a laser and the threat of neutrons and ions in the air. The real butt of the joke is Benedict Cumberbatch since he arrived on set later than most of the cast, who by then were all in it.
Cumberbatch must be the most gullible man on the planet. Seriously, I think you could trick him into signing a contract where be becomes your personal tea-serving, phone-answering, spanking slave.
Wait, stop. Cumberbitches, don’t start getting any ideas.
While promoting his latest film, the Jackie Robinson bio pic 42, Harrison Ford stopped by ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live last night. Now when you have a chance to talk to Han Solo, especially since we are all still hungry for more (and any) news about the upcoming Star Wars movies, you pelt him with any and all questions related to the franchise, right?
Well, Harrison politely stated that he couldn’t and wouldn’t answer any Star Wars related questions leading to some innocuous questions from ‘audience members‘ that just happened to be dressed up as Luke Skywalker and Princess Leia. Then the Nerf poo hit the fans -as the saying goes- when the ‘REAL‘ Chewbacca shows up, revealing that the once space fairing best friends seem to have a long standing feud. You can watch the awkward exchange between the actor and the wookiee below. (more…)
