Today was the special panel at San Diego Comic-con for the first of two Snow White movies, this one being Snow White and the Huntsman. I’ll be honest I thought this was going to be some sappy love story because Kristen Stewart is in it but I was sadly mistaken, it looks like some pretty awesome shit. After the panel officially ended Universal Pictures released four of the character photos that were shown during the presentation and they look simply outstanding. Each in their own special little ways. Here is your first look at Kristen Stewart as Snow White, Charlize Theron as the Queen, Chris Hemsworth as the Huntsman and Sam Claflin as the Prince.
Well it’s finally here…a quick glimpse at some footage from Twilight Breaking Dawn:Part One. And by a quick glimpse, I do mean quick! The footage from the wedding scene shows us a smiling Robert Pattinson, cheesing from ear to ear. Sadly, only the back of Bella’s (Kristen Stewart) head is seen. The mere 15 seconds of pure Twilight joy experienced in so short a time is due to the fact that the clip will be revealed exclusively by Rob, Kristen and Taylor Lautner at the 2011 Mtv Movie Awards happening June 5.
It seems the mighty Thor played by Chris Hemsworth in Marvel‘s anticipated movie of the same name (coming to theaters this Friday), may well be switching out his enchanted hammer for something a bit more realistic … like an axe.
The re-telling of Snow White’s story in Snow White and the Huntsman, has already a pretty big cast behind it: Charlize Theron as the Wicked Witch, and Twilight‘s Kristen Stewart as Snow White, with Hemsworth being the main man considered for the role of the Huntsman.
Based on how much Hemsworth bulked up for Thor, he definitely has the build for the part. And early reviews are saying that this film should launch his career, and looks like it has started to do just that!
Nothing is confirmed as of yet, but we will be sure to keep you up to date on this.
While I was out getting pudding (Yo, makers of Snack Packs, you need to make them cups bigger. Your tiny portion size does no satisfy.) there was a rumor/report going on stating that Kristen Stewart (Twilight. Duh!) was a “Definite Interest” for the role of Lois Lane, the second lead in Zach Snyder’s (Watchmen, 300) Superman reboot. New York Daily News was saying how Snyder and his producer/wife Deborah (personal note: I’ve never met any good Debbie’s. Strange.) to discuss the role. Then there was this malarkey about how Stewart asked to be taken out of consideration because she was “caught off guard” by the success of Twilight and wanted to concentrate on “smaller, independent films.”
Blah, blah, blah. It’s all lies. LIES I TELL YOU! According to People.com (the people never lie), Stewart’s reps said:
“There are a number of fabricated stories circulating. The fact is that she has not met on this film nor has she been approached for this film.”
So, there you have it. You can rest your raging nerd engines. Superman will not be sullied by the actress who’s greatest range of emotion is biting her lip.
Who might take up the mantle of Superman’s love interest/ star reporter? Well, word around the net says Rachel McAdams, Mila Kunis,Jessica Biel, Dianna Agron, Malin Akerman, Olivia Wilde, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Kristen Bell and Lake Bell are apparently on a short list.
I’m not going to lie. I am a huge fan of the Twilight Series…that is, the book series. The movies, not so much. Yeah, sure they’re OK to go and see with my teenage neighbors or watch the original movie alone at night when I’m feeling sorry for myself and need a semi-romantic movie to cry too. To be honest, the first movie (Twilight) was just OK, the second (New Moon) was a downright disgrace. And now I’m dreading how Eclipse, directed by David Slade, will turn out. Here’s the low-down on Eclipse, and it’s very simple: Bella (Kristen Stewart) loves Edward. Edward (Robert Pattinson) loves Bella. Jacob (Taylor Lautner) loves Bella. Bella does not love Jacob. Enter a crazed, red-headed vampire, Vicoria (Bryce Dallas Howard who is replacing Rachelle Lefevre) and some warewolf-on-vampire action to win Bella over, and we have your basic love triangle (minus the vampire and wolf thing). Will I see the movie? Yes. Will I see it opening night (June 30, 2010)? Nope. Did that last time and wanted to kill myself…Do I expect great things from this movie? No way, but I still want to see it. Check out the trailer below and let me know your thoughts.
Summit Entertainment has unleashed a batch of images from its upcoming The Twilight Saga: New Moon, most of which you’ve seen before, but a few you haven’t, including a behind-the-scenes image of director Chris Weitz on the set with star Kristen Stewart.
Would I lose the respect of our readers if I said Twilight is a guilty pleasure of mine? Yes I know it’s a romance novel for tween girls but Kristen Stewarts Hot and Vampires are always cool, even if they do sparkle.
