“You, Me and Optimus Prime”: A Bromance Made In Heaven

You know you have a real nerd-sized hard-on for a fictional character when you write a song for said character. Or you’re a really fuckin’ sad loner. Either way, Canadian singer-songwriter James Struthers definitely has some of that crazy shit going down. James’ newest video, “You, Me and Optimus Prime”, is the closest we may ever get to a bromance between human and autobot that won’t be filed in with the spank bank on your computer. (Or will it?)

Even if you’re not a fan of this kind of music, it’s well worth it to watch Optimus piss gasoline onto a fire. That’s right: Optimus Prime pissing on a fire and making it bigger. (By “it”, I mean the fire, you sick fucks!) If that’s the only reason you’d be interested in watching this video, so be it. Just fuckin’ watch it! And, y’know, if watching Struthers and Optimus Prime fuck around all day is something that gets you going… We aren’t judging. (Yes, we are.)

Bioshock Fan-Made Theme Song

Do you get scared by video games?

I don’t, but there are a lot of scary games out there that people buy (such as Condemned, Alan Wake and any number of zombie games) because people love to be scared.

But, I have never been so emotionally traumatized by a game that I had the urge to write a song about it! However, that is exactly what YouTube user lightsatsparkwood21 did for a game that I absolutely loved, Bioshock.

Her reasoning was this:

This is about my complete inability to play Bioshock for longer than ten minutes at a time without having to stop and go and hide underneath a large pile of clothing. Basically, it scares the shit out of me. I apologise for the mic level…I couldn’t get a decent sound. It’s really trebley.
Thanks to Ben Paul for the lyrics of the last verse (the best verse) as well.
Big Daddies are friends:

It’s actually a pretty good song, and I love the call-backs to the classic music from the game at the beginning. She really did a great job with the song, and I hope you give it a listen below!

What happens when you mix a trombone, salsa music, Darth Vader, and a Senior Citizen audience? The most hilarious, and dance inducing video I’ve ever been blessed to lay my eyes upon.  This Vader has mad skills! He can play with Vader mask on, and has some pretty flexible dance moves that had everyone screaming with joy and excitement. Vader’s charismatic serenade left my Hispanic heart aflutter, and made me smile! I’d have Hispanic Darth babies with him! But hey if you don’t get why I’m in such a good much watch the video for yourself. Those lucky senior citizens little got a spark of life from the dark side that day!  Shoot I’ll join the dark side….point me to an enlistment booth!

Once you watch the video leave your thoughts and comments below.  Whether you love it  or hate it, but please give the comment box love! Salsa Vader commands it!

Roll a D6 (Roll a G6 Parody)

Not enough can be said of the epicness of this video.

If you are a fan of Dungeons & Dragons, or just roll playing games in general, you will definitely enjoy this parody of “Like a G6” by Far East Movement called “Like a D6,” named after the six-sided die used to play.

Just do yourself a favor, and watch it. It’s cute, funny and will get stuck in your head for a LONG time.

Enjoy!

Caprica's Zoe rocks it as Slave Leia in geek-dream music video

Tonight I’m frakking you. That’s my pick-up line. It never works. Of course, if I was Alessandra Torressani of Caprica and said that, there would be a lot of bent wookies, if you know what I mean.

OK kids, gonna keep this real short. Scifi Music Spoof Video. Torressani in Slave Leia Costume. Rapping from Big Bang Theory‘s Raj. More Nerd Pop Culture References and Cameos Than You Can Shake a Stick At. Or, as break.com likes to put it “A geek fantasy comes to life when one lucky nerd finds himself in Sci-fi’s hottest nightclub with every girl you’d ever want to frak.”

Enjoy.

I can’t believe I’m about to post news that was confirmed by girl-voiced urchin Justin Bieber, but the Biebs got the goods – that 1990s animated staple “Beavis and Butt-head” is returning to a squawkbox near you.

As St. Louis’ Riverfront Times astutely points out, Bieber recently Tweeted that he was in New York City to relax all cool and shoot some b-ball outside of school*. But wait, there’s more! He also went to MTV’s upfront presentation and learned that the former music channel is gearing up to bring our favorite dimwits back to tv.

“Beavis and Butt-head” is scheduled to return this summer after being off the air since 1997, except for a few repeat runs on MTV and other cable channels. There’s nothing on IMDB about Mike Judge returning to the show he created, but you’ve got to imagine he’d want to influence a new generation to mouth off and blow crap up, right?

What do you think about the news? Are you stoked for B&B’s triumphant return? Do you miss the duo singing “Good-bye to poop?”

Or would you rather leave the great Cornholio looking for TP in that animated wasteland in the sky?

* The Fresh Prince lyrics have no importance here. I just wanted to use them.

Two-time Primetime Emmy Award-Winner and Lead Animator for Comedy Central’s South Park, Ryan Quincy is rumored to be bringing his very own animated world to a television near you – follow our posts for developing news. Quincy may be best known for his work on MADtv and South Park, but his real passion lies in creating his own characters and animations.

His body of work remains just under the radar at his best-kept-secret website ryanquincy.com if you’re wondering. And you should be. Quincy began his artistic journey just about the time he took his first breath. His art is sweet, innocent and firmly planted in the sandy soil of adolescence. Behold the prolific “so-far” feeling you get perusing his artwork, music video catalog, and although sparse…his intriguing “blahg” posts. You’ll get the distinct (and accurate) feeling you’ll be seeing more of his sweet characters that are searching for something of simple substance in the world. (more…)
