Hey Bastards. It’s Friday. You know what that means? That’s right, it’s another addition of “Sexy Cosplay of The Week”. Where we recognize a cute/hot nerdy girl for her portrayal of pop culture characters.

There’s nothing better than a hot chick who loves to dress up like an anime and other pop characters. It gives us a false sense of hope that we might actually have a chance with them due to the fact that one faucet of their life resonates with our truly pathetic, basement dwelling lives.

This week we speak the name of Yuffie Bunny. A name that certainly speaks volumes to this princess of primp. Yuffie, the alluring HPOA that she is (would it be inappropriate to say that if given the chance I would totally tongue punch her fartbox?) has an affinity for Japanese pop culture and even bigger propensity for whoring the culture out in costumed ventures.

While galloping around in silly costumes is considered social suicide for some, expressing oneself is the only way in which to be yourself. So, stepping up and living out her creative spirit, coupled with her passion for wigs and fabrics wasn’t even a question for this lustful babe. Yuffie threw her hat in the cosplay ring back in 2004 and has since gained a certain level of celebrity. Apparently, sewing up costumes accurate to that of anime babes and video game fatals will earn you a spot on two MTV shows, an HBO series, varies articles in newspapers and magazines and a CD cover. Though she is humbled by the popularity that has been awarded to her she says “Cosplay for me is about getting the chance to become something new and just have fun with it.” While her sense of character is certainly an inspiration for others to assert themselves creatively, and we commend her for that, but lets be honest, us bastards aren’t here to give nerds a pep talk. We’re here to gawk at sexy bodies in costume. And, Yuffie Bunny fills that need.

Created in 1978 Power Girl is Supermans first cousin from an alternative earth…or something. Power Girl has always had one of the most bodacious racks in super heroine history. Hell, she even has a little window in her costume so you can ogle her cleavage. Her boobs are more like weapons of mass distraction than destruction. Why else would she showcase her cleavage with a circular cut-out in her costume if not for the means of mesmerizing evil-doers before she gives the ole’ bam, kapow? Though, her chesticles are certainly lethal. A titty slap would cleave in the average mortals head. I digress, my friends we ogle and salivate at the thought of Powergirl and her massive mammies. Her unconventional anatomy of the female figure is what we take back to our caves for…indecent things. Because of the fact that horny males have drawn her, it’s often hard to find a body type in nature that matches what she looks like in comics. Still, we must commend those who are brave enough to try and the few that pull it off.

What is Alodia Almira Arraiza Gosiengfiao? I’ll give you a hint. It’s not an incantation to unleash hell on earth (Though, it could be in The Book of the Dead, I’m not sure). Here’s another hint. It’s not a what, it’s a who. Alodia Almira Arraiza Gosiengfiao is a world renowned cosplayer. Actually, she is probably one of the most biggest names in cosplay (see what I did there?). Seriously, this cosplayer, artist and model is so notorious she might as well be the goddamn poster child for the cosplay community.  Alodia Gosiengfiao brings to life every thirtysomething geek’s fantasies by dynamically portraying anime, manga and American pop culture characters. Cosplay for Alodia Gosiengfiao is more than just a hobby. In the world of cosplay, Alodia Gosiengfiao is a queen. She’s graced magazine covers, been featured on talk shows and The Philippine edition of FHM ranked her number 87 in its 2009 poll for 100 Sexiest Women in the World. Her popularity began in 2003 when she won in an event called the C3 Convention in 2003 as Gun Mage Rikku of FFX-2. Though, it be fair to say her cosplay stardom skyrocketed when the Internet caught wind of her depiction of Cobra’s seductively deadly second-in-command, The Baroness from G.I. Joe. A success that has put her on a pedestal to which all other fail to compare.

Great body, great looks and great costumes that what makes her one of the most sought after cosplayers. Simply put: Cosplay has never looked this good.

San Diego Comic-Con 2010 is underway and while the massive event is host to the latest in nerd media it is also company to the subculture of Cosplaying. The definition of Cosplay is the practice of dressing up as a fictional character from pop culture. But, to us nerds the real definition is seeing your favorite characters from reality to fantasy and anime to comics, come to life in beautiful and erotic fashion by sensual women. And, what better way to celebrate Comic-Con and Cosplaying than to appreciate the hottest cleavage that cosplay has to offer. Whether it’s boobs in costumes or boobs popping out of costumes the two go hand and hand.

(Every friday, here at nerdbastards, you can come to find the sexy side of nerd pop culture in a little weekly feature we call “Sexy Cosplay of The Week”. Cosplay is a known term in the nerd-verse when fans dress up as their favorite characters from pop culture, either from movies, comics, TV, gaming and so on. A lot of times it’s quite sexy and what we do is find the sexy and bring it to you, you’re welcome.)

There’s something rather sexy about fictional characters that come to life. A dream come true? Definitely. A fulfillment of life? Possibly. A way to make me say ‘Giggity’ hundreds of times? You bet! And when you mix that cosplay with a hot chick and some super bad-ass costumes, well, life just doesn’t get much better.

Take Meru for example. A blonde-haired, blue-eyed gal, who puts a touch of sexy and chic into everything she does. She has been attending conventions since 2003 and has been sewing since 2006. For Meru, it’s about using various skills to create costumes from anime, manga, video games, etc. that she adores. A girl with some passion, and a sweet face, that enjoys what she does to the fullest extent and makes cosplay something to really enjoy.

An array of self made costumes representing the garbs of Anime and Manga’s sexiest, ass-kicking babes. Check. A Vagina. Check. Ginormous BEWBS. Double check (one for each boob). Being the ideal fantasy of every socially awkward nerdy boy (and a few nerdy girlies). Triple check. Put em all together and what does that give you? A Cosplay super Babe!!!

Dressing up and pretending to be a fictional character is just another day in the life of Tristen Citrine. A chest heavy (giggity) cutie that has be rocking the Cosplay scene since 1998. Back when Pagers (memba those), where still wildly used as a social networking device. Ya, she’s been constructing costumes and showing her assets (the chick has some really huge hooters) for that long. A professional costumer with a strange affinity for the color orange. Her quirky creations have been shown at many conventions, as well as guest appearances in a variety of other media. She runs a costume supply/accessory store Cosworx and in her spare time a teacher to aspiring cosplayers.

Though, we are here to admire and gawk over her massive chesticles we must take a bow and respect this fore mother to the costuming world. A handful of cosplayer ever achieve Goddess-level in their costuming, yet Tristen has blazed that trail. Her style and technique is impeccable. She has a set a standard for all to strive toward. We are not worthy.

Should there be any inaccuracies they’d be hard to spot. Primarily because this babe is so hot, so intense and so seductive that no nerd with a functioning penis could focus on errors in representation.

Asians with gigantic tits? Who knew there was such a thing? (note: Yes. We know. There are plenty busty Asians out there. It’s just not a common association)

Well, ladies and gentlemen nerdbastards ‘Sexy Cosplay of The Week’ is back again. We return with another of cosplay’s hottest icons. This week, we speak of world renowned costume hobbyists and Asian with the biggest rubber baby buggy bumpers you’ve ever seen, Yaya Han.

For nearly a decade, Yaya and her BEWBZ (Would it be insensitive to call them her Hiroshima and Nagasakis?) has travelled to conventions all over the world, adorned in some of the most intricate costumes ever designed.  She is a beautiful Asian American whose notoriety is equal to her incredible talent. After discovering cosplay at her first con a decade ago, she quickly absorbed the heart and soul of costume design and creation. Her lavish creations as well as elaborate stage performances have won awards and acclaim nation wide. There are very few people who could consider themselves “celebrities” in the costuming world, Yaya happens to be one of them.

Blah, blah, blah…..”we want to see her Congo Bongos”. Sigh, a little demanding are we? OK, who am I to step in the way of you and Yaya’s humongous Holmes and Watson’s.

What’s better than a girl dressing up as a fictional character of pop culture? Why, a sexy girl dressing up as a fictional character of pop culture, that’s what! When great cosplay mixes with beautiful girls, the hotness last for all eternity. Such as the case with cosplay legend FRANCESCA DANI . From costume to the cleavage, this cosplayer knows no equal. There really is no name which echos throughout world of dress up than that of Francesca Dani. First dressing up as Sailor Moon in October 1998, and she’s portrayed many anime and game characters since. She’s as famous as she is talented. Who, actually makes a living bringing fictional character to life, in ways no creator ever dared possible. Who knew there was money to be made in dressing up as a pop culture characters ? Well, apparently there is and this italian nerd has made it her business..and boy does she do it well.
