Transformers 3

NB Exclusive: A Closer Look at Unstoppable

UTrain

A runaway train, Denzel Washington and Chris Pine; an equation for an unstoppable movie!  Based on true events, director Tony Scott (Top Gun, Man on Fire, Deja Vu, Enemy of the State) recreates the day a runaway train carrying chemicals was destined to cause havoc on a small town.  Now while the plot may seem simplistic, there in lies the beauty of this film.  Pine is on his first day of work and basically Denzel is training him to take his job (hell of a first day on the job!),  The film relies on raw human emotion, not just the acton; but TRUST me there’s tons of that too!

Unstoppable (Nov. 12) has been compared to Speed on a train, and honestly I see NOTHING wrong with that!  Recently, I had the opportunity to speak with Ben McGinn who was Chris Pine’s stand in for the project and pick his brain about the film.  Check out the interview where he tells us about what it was like to work with Tony Scott, what exactly a stand in does and what it his experience was like on the set of Transformer’s 3 after the break!

Sweet Prime! Looks like more information is coming in on Michael Bay‘s upcoming Transformer’s film and Pink Floyd is gonna be pissed. According to Seiberton, Amazon.com, and comfirmed by Collider, the next Transformers movie will be titled Transformers: The Dark of the Moon. With this next film partially taking place, of course, on the moon, it makes complete sense to include the moon in the subtitle.

Listings on Amazon showed three books, each with the movies primary title Transformers: The Dark of the Moon as there title. Each book however, was subtitled Invasion of the Decpticons, Secrets of the Autobots and Autobots Betrayed. Other than knowing that this movie will in fact having an opener on the moon, we are in the dark (side of the moon. Booyah.). We give you more on these “Robots in Disguise” as they come in.

Transformers: The Dark  of the Moon, directed by Micheal Bay, starring Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro, Alan Tudyk, Ken Jeong, Patrick Dempsey, and John Malkovich. Be prepared July 1, 2011.

That’s right folks, Ghandi tried out for a role on the upcoming Bayformers 3 and it is worth watching. Well, to be honest, Ben Kingsley (Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, Lucky Number Slevin) did a parody of Heidi Montag’s audition tape that she did after the news of Megan Fox’s departure from the franchise. All I have to say is that Kingsley is awesome for what he did here and it’s obvious who should have been chosen between the two. Check out the Kingsley clip and also check the Montag clip (only so that you could see what he was doing a parody of) by clicking this link since I don’t want to taint this awesome site by posting a video of her.
