New Stills From ‘Resident Evil: Retribution’ Hit The Internet

- 07-06-12Film Posted by Mark Poynter

Seven new production stills for the upcoming Resident Evil: Retribution movie hit the Internet the other day. There’s some great looks at Alice’s fighting costume, love the leather look, but not to thrilled about all the “cut out” sections that will most likely just get conveniently ripped up during the fighting. It’s great to see some of the other Resident Evil characters making appearances as well.

The movie hits theaters September 14th and although there will be plenty of fan boy lamenting in every forum and comments section, butts will fill seats and the movie, like all it’s predecessors, will make tons of money.

In the fifth installment of the action/horror franchise, the Umbrella Corporation’s deadly T-virus continues to ravage the Earth, transforming the global population into legions of the flesh eating Undead. The human race’s last and only hope, Alice (Milla Jovovich), awakens in the heart of Umbrella’s most clandestine operations facility and unveils more of her mysterious past as she delves further into the complex. Without a safe haven, Alice continues to hunt those responsible for the outbreak; a chase that takes her from Tokyo to New York, Washington, D.C. and Moscow, culminating in a mind-blowing revelation that will force her to rethink everything that she once thought to be true. Aided by newfound allies and familiar friends, Alice must fight to survive long enough to escape a hostile world on the brink of oblivion. The countdown has begun.

New ‘Resident Evil: Retribution’ Trailer Hits The Internet

Whenever the Resident Evil franchise cranks out another film there’s always those that cry:

“Why are they still making these crappy movies?”

$700 million worldwide gross is nothing to sneeze at. As long as these films make money, someone is gonna make more.

Get used to it.

Concept Art Of A Star Destroyer Umbrella

Good god, how I would like to own one of these. The folks over at OneMoreGadget have created an interesting concept for an umbrella. What you see above is the Star Destroyer umbrella, the umbrella that could help you get through a hurricane or at least a rain of lasers.

All right, while this may not be happening at all, it has made me think about a Millennium Falcon umbrella or a Tie Fighter umbrella. Sure, the weather might ruin the design over time but there would be a market for it. What do y’all think? Would you want a Star Destroyer umbrella or do you have an idea for another kind of an umbrella?
