In November 2016, Planet Coaster was released by Frontier Developments. The video game moguls of enterprise simulations (Rollercoaster Tycoon, Zoo Tycoon, Jurassic World Evolution), continued their proud legacy with this new, updated world of roller coaster park building. Though the height of the building sim craze was in the early 2000’s, Frontier Developments has emerged as a quality front-runner and has since built a long-term fanbase.
And this fall, they plan to release their new and improved game: Planet Zoo.
One thing that is obvious when you do a deep dive in all things Star Trek, is that the producers love to bring back actors that “get it.” That is why actors like Diana Muldaur, Jeffrey Combs, and Joseph Ruskin appeared as more than three characters over the various incarnations of the franchise. One thing that stands out about many “regular” cast members is the fact that they appeared in Trek prior to the role they are best known for.
This time we take a look at three regular cast members of Voyager that had made previous appearances on Trek before landing the role they would spend the rest of their lives signing autographs for.
The Interwebz is a great place for nerdy art and the like. A lot of the time it’s crazy things like Winnie the Pooh with his hand in the honey pot (nudge nudge) or even that incident between Princess Leia and Jabba the Hutt (and all while Salacious Crumb was forced to watch, too). Hey, it’s the internet folks. Luckily there is always the counter balance of some mind blowing nerd based art. We collect it, you enjoy it, and we are all better for it.
ABOVE: He’s just looking for a little love ladies, is that so bad? All this prince turned
furry beast wants is a good woman that doesn’t mind that he sheds. He even comes with a heart-shaped balloon, instant chick magnet. [UFC Chick]

Last summer the above picture of the Firefly crew dressed in Starfleet uniforms was floating around. I just saw it again and it got me thinking. I’d love to see the Firefly gang pull off a job against those stuffy Starfleet officers. Wouldn’t that make an awesome mash-up? We could see some classic match ups, down and dirty, drag out, mega Fanboy fights.
Click the JUMP to see what Firefly / Star Trek match-ups this Nerdbastard wants to see.
