Peter Jackson is bringing his Hobbit trilogy back to theaters this October in a three-day event that will feature the extended version of each film in three successive days. Fathom Events is partnering with Warner Bros. to bring the event to AMC theaters around the United States. Want to know where and when?

Here’s the official announcement:

Fathom Events and Warner Bros. are partnering to present the extended editions of all three Hobbit movies. Shown over three nights, the epic Peter Jackson trilogy will be the first time the extended editions have ever been released in theatres. Also included will be an exclusive introduction by director Peter Jackson. First night showing starts Monday, October 5th, 2015 at 7:30pm local. Tickets will be regular admission prices for each movie.

Check your local AMC theater to see if it is participating. No word yet if this event will occur in other countries, but I would imagine once it wraps up in the states that it would be pretty easy to replicate it.

There’s also no real details on what is included in the extended versions, although I would imagine it is the same extended versions already for sale on DVD and BluRay. Jackson’s introduction will be new I would imagine.

Are you ready to share an adventure… again?
