With talk of both a small screen and big screen adaption of Wonder Woman being a possibility, the lead actress in the infamously failed NBC pilot would still jump at a chance at donning the bullet stopping bracers. Collider spoke with Adrianne Palicki and asked about how she felt when the David E. Kelley run pilot for the Amazonian Princess got shelved.

“I was devastated. Believe me, I was inconsolable for a good two months.”

Now, I’ve seen the pilot in question in its entirety and I can say that I was pretty emotionally battered afterwards as well. So with CW moving forward with their TV series and with Warner Bros. continued hope of bringing WW to the big screen (currently as part of 2015s Justice League movie) the actress hasn’t given up all hope.

“I had to realize that I had a Wonder Woman costume fitted for my body. I got to play that part on film. Not many people get to say that, and that’s cool. Maybe I’ll get to do it again, in a bigger arena. Who knows?”

While I will admit I have no idea what CW or WB has planed for the character I am going to hazard a guess they are looking for more than someone who already has the suit ready to roll, plus the suit from the pilot was terrible. Think she should get a second crack at wielding the lasso?

Fun Fact: The above quotes were found in an interview with Palicki talking about her forth coming role in the Red Dawn remake that sat on a shelf for a few years. They also asked about her part in G.I. Joe: Retaliation a movie that is currently collecting dust somewhere. The interviewer declined to ask about the gypsy curse the actress clearly has had placed on her.
