Once we saw the Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer and heard that haunting Pinocchio music and lyrics, we knew there would be mashups, the only thing missing was Sean Bean’s Eddard Stark warning us that the Mashups were coming. We’ve gathered a few to take the edge off until we get Tuesday’s new Avengers: Age of Ultron footage during Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

First up is Justin Younger‘s little teaser mashup. You’ve got to love the altered Pinocchio/Ultron animation at the end.

This one from bhirajan26 takes the original Pinocchio trailer sound and weaves it into the Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer.

This one from Nerdreactor is my current favorite. taking the Avengers: Age of Ultron sound and placing it into the Pinocchio visuals.

Attic Pictures grabbed the original music and slowed it down. I certainly wouldn’t have thought that was Streisand, but it was cool to see where it came from.

The music featured in the Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer. Though this is not the actual mix used in the trailer, the source is the same and the speed and pitch have been matched. The song used is a 1965 cover of “I’ve Got No Strings” from Disney’s Pinocchio by Barbra Streisand. I also cut out about 3 minutes of the middle because once slowed down the song was about 6 minutes long and that’s a bit much.

OK, I threw this one by Hashtag Bliss in there because I stumbled onto it when searching for Age of Ultron Mashups. I watched it and was thoroughly surprised at how well the two when merged worked. Take a look and tell me you didn’t feel the tension. Probably lots more tension than the movie will have with its normal soundtrack.
