We’re literally one day away from the release of Green Lantern and they discover a nebula that’s glowing green, talk about a lucky break. The BBChas reported that the Spitzer heliocentric orbiting telescope, a.k.a. that really powerful telescope in space, has taken a photograph of this ring-shaped nebula. Now classified as RCW 120 it’s a safe bet that plenty of comic book fans are using the nickname Oa right now.

Sadly we’ll never get to see it in our lifetime as it’s way to far away and the coloring from the photograph is actually massive doses of radiation. So unless you actually have a working Green Lantern ring the best we can do is show you the picture of the nebula.
