The Harry Potter books stopped in 2007, and after the films finished in 2011, it has been hard for some fans to continue to celebrate their love for the wizarding world.  However, there are many exciting things happening in the wizarding world. There’s the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at the Universal Studio theme parks. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child stage play now previewing. And of course, the highly anticipated Harry Potter spin-off film, Fantastic Beats and Where to Find Them. The latter of which comes a bit of news to stir up fans, revealing more about the mysterious US  based schools of Witch Craft and Wizardy. There’s also bit of commentary from Harry Potter star himself Daniel Radcliffe on his future with the franchise. (more…)

If you’ve been following the DC movie verse, you’ll know there are is new arc of films that have been announced, with some in the of thick production already. Wonder Woman is expected to hit theaters next summer and Justice League will follow after in November. In 2018, we will begin to see more stand-alone DC hero movies including The Flash, Aquaman, Cyborg and even the Green Lantern Corps.

Today, we have gotten a close first look at some of the new promotional logos for such films. (more…)

One of the most unique and action-packed comic book movies will release in theaters this August. That’s right, I’m talking about the fan anticipated movie of the summer, Suicide Squad. This film features a special task force, made up of some of the worst super villains you could think of, to carry out missions under U.S. intelligence officer, Amanda Waller. Among these super villains are Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and Killer Croc. They’ve been taken out of being incarcerated and sent on deadly missions. Are they more good than bad or more bad than good? Doesn’t matter. It sounds cool! The film could definitely bring the DC movie-verse back to life, depending on how well director David Ayer’s portrayal goes.

Among all the press and media put out about the film, there have been a few movie posters. Now a new spiffy IMAX poster, as well as several new character posters have been revealed. (more…)

“Pikachu, I choose you!” Many have been following the Pokemon franchise for quite some time. Since the release of Pokemon Red and Blue, on Nintendo’s Game Boy in 1996, it has been a fan favorite among all ages. After the video game, came the television series and soon after, a collectable trading card game. It has been a worldwide known name and people from all over the world have been exposed to at least one format of the franchise. Pokemon has stayed so popular, that it’s now hit its seventh generation. There are now 720 confirmed Pokemon existing in the universe. Now, that’s a lot of Pokemon! (more…)
