The Weinstein Co. (TWC) and Relativity Media have settled their legal battle over remake rights to The Crow. The two companies released a joint statement that boiled down to:

TWC won’t further pursue a lawsuit claiming Ryan Kavanaugh’s independent studio breached a 2009 distribution agreement that allegedly gave TWC the right to release the movie globally, in turn, Relativity has dismissed its $20 million claim that TWC botched the release and distribution of the movie Nine.
Now all we have to worry about is this film actually making into theaters. Damn lawyers and their arbitrating ways. Couldn’t they spin this lawsuit out until this NerdBastard had passed on?
