The news that a reboot for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was met with mixed reactions ranging from joy to fear:

Joy –Oh boy, they’re bringing back the Turtles to the big screen!”

Fear – “Oh boy . . . they’re bringing back the Turtles to the big screen . . .”

With a release date of Christmas Day 2013, fans are hoping for a TNMT Christmas present that won’t feel like they just got a bag of coal.

Platinum Dunes’ Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles announcement this weekend is sure to set forums blazing with comments from TMNT fans everywhere.

TMNT reboot Producer Michael Bay, hints that the turtles may not be mutants at all.

Are they still teenagers?

Wait . . . they must still be turtles though . . .

Before you watch the video . . .

Remove any close at hand, throwable objects.

In case you missed it in the video of Bay speaking:

“When you see this movie, kids are going to believe, one day, that these turtles actually do exist when we are done with this movie. These turtles are from an alien race and they are going to be tough, edgy, funny and completely lovable.”

Jonathan Liebesman will direct and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will feature a script from Josh Appelbaum, Andrew Nemec, Art Marcum, Matt Holloway and John Fusco.

First Transformers now TMNT. Micheal Bay is a wrecking ball . . . a childhood wrecking ball.
