With the release of The Dark Knight Rises seemingly a lifetime away (or July 20th for you realists out there) all it takes is a little taste to get excited. Well, today in my inbox I found something that really brought out the batnerd in me. Of course I immediatly watched with without looking at any of the text that explained it. (reading, pfft, am I right?) I didn’t know what I was looking at, while images that are very reminiscent of the still fantastic titles to Se7en flashed before me I wondered if I had somehow been sent an early draft of the opening sequence for the upcoming Christopher Nolan movie. I hadn’t. Turns out this incredible two minutes was made by  Doğan Can Gündoğdu and Günışığı Cihangir as a school project. Very slick, very professional and really sets a mood. Your move Nolan.

Check it out after the jump.

School project, huh? Back in highvschool I made a statue once, well it was suppose to be a lamp… but school is hard.
